 Thumbnails

 

Best used when there are 10 – 20 images in a gallery, and images are a consistent size and style. This style will arbitrarily crop all image thumbnails to the same size for the sake of the grid.

Masonry

 

Best utilized when there are at least 20 – 30 images of various size and style. Masonry gallery creates a mixed grid using consistent width and varying height of the images, allowing for an uneven bottom edge. Masonry view allows displaying the thumbnails of various dimensions based on the original ratio of images. Very useful option if you have images of various dimensions.

Mosaic

 

Best utilized when there are at least 20 – 30 images of various size and style. Mosaic gallery creates a mixed grid using consistent width and varying height of the images forming a clean block of thumbnails. Mosaic View is quite similar to what is offered by Masonry View. The main difference here is that the image thumbnails are being resized in a way to fill in the content area.

Slideshow

 

Slideshow View displays the images in a slideshow with the possibility of a filmstrip. The dimensions of the slideshow, the navigation options can be fully adjusted. This option doesn’t support social sharing. This option supports a bunch of transition effects. We recommend sticking with fade.

Image Browser View

 

Image Browser View displays larger size thumbnail with a navigation possibility. It can be used for saving space of displaying all images within a page.

Blog Style View

 

Blog Style view will display the images listed with large size thumbnails. Upon clicking the image the lightbox feature will be used. Can be paginated. Best used with 2 – 4 images and if there is more of a description/story associated to the specific image.

Compact Album View

 

The view displays the thumbnail of an album (few thumbnails when multiple albums are included within an album), upon hitting the thumbnail the general thumbnail view will be opened.

Extended Album View

 

Best used when there are 3 – 5 images and album titles and descriptions are more of a priority in communication. Also good to use when there are multiple gallery sections within an album subject.

Video Gallery

 

Best used when gallery may include 3 – 5 videos as content. Embeds videos to the photo gallery from YouTube and Vimeo.
