Honda associates are encouraged to show their support for UNCF by joining the UNCF Virtual Walk for Education with Team Honda on September 18, 2021.

Associates are encouraged to make a difference and have fun in their own neighborhoods while enjoying a walk, run, cycle, etc. on that day, in honor of supporting historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and to help underserved students pursue their educational endeavors.

Honda is supporting UNCF walks across the country this year and has created a “Team Honda” walk team for the local walks.  Associates, contractors, family and friends are encouraged to participate in one of the walks listed below based on location.

Honda will have teams in seven states including:

• Alabama: UNCF Birmingham Walk; #TeamHonda_AAP
• California: UNCF Los Angeles Walk; #TeamHonda_Torrance
• Georgia: UNCF Atlanta Walk; #TeamHonda_Atlanta
• Indiana: UNCF Indianapolis Walk; #TeamHonda_IAP
• North Carolina: UNCF Charlotte Walk; #TeamHonda_NorthCarolina
• Ohio: UNCF Columbus Walk; #TeamHonda_OH
• South Carolina: UNCF South Carolina Walk; #TeamHonda_SouthCarolina

Registration fees support UNCF’s mission. Since their founding in 1944, UNCF has helped to more than double the number of minority students attending college.
