The YWCA Columbus recently hosted the 35th anniversary of the Women of Achievement Event sponsored by Honda. The event featured board member Yvette Hunsicker, Vice President of the Office of Inclusion & Diversity and Corporate Social Responsibility of American Honda Motor Co., Inc.

Due to COVID-19, the event was a virtual gathering.

In a video message, Hunsicker spotlighted the community advocacy work of Honda and how it connects to the mission of the YWCA. Hunsicker spoke about the importance of partnering with the YWCA and taking action for social justice.

The annual Women of Achievement Event honors a select group of Columbus, Ohio women who have made extraordinary contributions to their families, workplaces, and communities.

The YWCA’s mission is eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peach, justice, freedom and dignity for all.
