Honda of Canada Mfg. (HCM) associates paddled to wins in the Dragon Boat Festival in Barrie, Ontario.

The annual event raises money for local organizations and features dragon boat races. This year, two teams from HCM totaling 43 associates took part, practicing throughout the summer for the big race.

On race day, one team placed fifth both within its division and overall out of 52 teams. The other team placed eighth in its division.

Since the 2003 inaugural year the Barrie Dragon Boat Festival has raised over $1.85 million for a variety of local charities including supporting Barrie Public Library.
