It is the season of giving and Honda associates at Honda Manufacturing of Indiana (HMIN) took great pride in donating items for its neighbors in need this month. Associates donated a record number of food items and toys over the last two weeks for two organizations that help those in need.

Organizers collected 9,806 food items and 1,724 toys. The donations were presented to the Decatur County Cheer Fund and Shepherd Community Center in Indianapolis. Both organizations will distribute the collections to children and families in need within communities who may have otherwise gone without gifts or food this holiday season. Both organizations were overwhelmed with the donations and deeply grateful.
