The 8th Annual Honda Federal Credit Union (HFCU) Pumpkin Dash 5k took place on Thanksgiving morning, in Marysville, Ohio, the home of Honda of America Mfg. Inc.

HFCU was the presenting sponsor of the race, which began and ended in the historic Uptown District. The event drew 1,300 runners and walkers.

“The financial sponsorship provided by HFCU has certainly helped offset the immense costs of underwriting an event like this,” said race director Peter Engelbrecht. “It allows us to continue providing a very high quality event like this in the community.”

Along with providing an opportunity for Honda associates and community members to burn off some calories on Thanksgiving Day, the 5K benefitted the Marysville Track and Cross Country boosters.
