Free Concerts Get a Boost, Thanks to Honda Volunteers

Associates from Honda of America Manufacturing, Inc. helped close out the summer season of free concerts at the Levitt Pavilion in Dayton, Ohio recently.

Volunteers braved the 85-degree heat to lend a hand at the free community concert venue and said it was a great event.

Honda sponsored the final concert of the season and provided volunteers to help with a number of tasks including: setting up concessions and signage, selling concessions and merchandise, greeting concert goers and helping tear down and cleanup the site when the show was over. They also helped “pass the bucket” to raise donations for the concerts.

The Levitt lawn provided 34 free concerts in Dayton this summer, featuring local, national, and international musicians. The organization’s mission is creating community through the power of free, live music.

The Levitt Pavilion in Dayton is part of a growing family of outdoor Levitt music venues and concert sites across America.
