A project supported by the Honda broke ground this month in Marysville, OH. Memorial Health began its $50-million hospital expansion, with assistance from a number of community partners including Honda, which donated $600,000 toward the project.

Planned to transform the way care is delivered, the project involves construction of new inpatient and outpatient pavilions, giving the community the comfort, convenience, and privacy it deserves. The expansion includes a 36-room inpatient tower and a new outpatient pavilion. The new facilities are expected to open in late 2019. No tax dollars will be used to fund the project, so support from the community is essential.

“We hope that our donation will go a long way in helping our community members get the medical care they need with this new expansion and renovation project,” said Bobbie Trittschuh, community relations for Honda of America Mfg.

Honda has supported Memorial Health for over 30 years with past projects including support for its women’s health center and emergency department.
