Honda de Mexico Begins Partnership with Make-A-Wish

Honda de Mexico (HdM) has formed a new partnership with Make-A-Wish Mexico, to assist children with life threatening medical conditions. Honda associates are providing transportation for children to and from their “wish” activities on a monthly basis through 2018.

Make-A-Wish Mexico fulfills the wishes of Mexican children diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses, to enrich their experience with hope, strength and joy.

This past November was HdM’s first activity – transporting Fátima, a shy little girl, who spends a lot of time in the hospital – to her special day.

Fátima needs a kidney transplant and is undergoing hemodialysis while she waits for a new kidney. Riding in style in an Acura MDX, she visited the zoo and her favorite restaurant and received a new mobile phone.

“We are so very pleased to help children make their dreams come true through Make-A-Wish,” said Miguel García of HdM.

In December, HdM transported a boy who wants to be a DJ to a music school.
