Honda Canada Associates Make Christmas Wishes Come True

The CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish program has become one of the largest distributors of toys to children in need in the Greater Toronto Area and Honda Canada has been a long-time participant in the program.

This year, Honda Canada associates – 45 of them – sorted toys and filled orders as they have in past years. Associates collected nearly 1,000 items for the organization.

The Christmas Wish program also provides financial assistance to hundreds of agencies, ensuring that hundreds of thousands of children enjoy a holiday experience and the Honda Canada Foundation was able to help from that perspective as well this year. The Foundation is donating $25,000 in cash and $5,000 worth of toys to the charity.

The CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish was originally established in 1966 as CHUM’s Kid’s Crusade Foundation, for the purpose of assisting children in need and children’s charities. By 2008, the program had become known as the CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish.
