Alabama State Students Head to Washington

For a second consecutive year, Honda assisted U.S. Representative Terri Sewell (AL-7) in bringing HBCU students from Alabama to attend the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Annual Legislative Conference (ALC). Students from Alabama State University met with Congresswoman Sewell and Honda associates and later attended the ALC, the major policy conference on issues impacting the African-American community.

The CBCF Annual Legislative Conference (ALC) is the leading policy conference on issues impacting African Americans and the global black community. Thought leaders, legislators and concerned citizens engage on economic development, civil and social justice, public health and education issues. More than 9,000 people attend 70 public policy forums and much more.
