HMIN Stuffs the Bus for Kids in Need

On July 22nd, Honda Manufacturing of Indiana (HMIN) filled over 100 backpacks with various school supplies for children in need.

For the second year in a row, HMIN partnered with Stuff the Bus to donate over 2,900 items to local children. Items included pens, pencils, art supplies and glue sticks. HMIN also partnered with Central Indiana Honda Dealers and Kaplan University for the event.
Stuff The Bus is a United Way, community impact program designed to collect money and school supplies for youth experiencing homelessness or extreme hardships.

This year, the school supplies will go to the Shepherd Community Center in Indianapolis. The Shepherd Community Center works with neighborhood youth and their families to break the cycle of poverty by engaging and empowering the community to cultivate healthy children, strong families and vibrant neighborhoods.
