Honda of Canada Associates, Habitat for Humanity Transform a Family’s New House Into a Home

Nov. 4 – A group of Honda of Canada Mfg. (HCM) associates helped turn a house into a home for an Angus, Ontario, family. The team of 10 volunteered for just six hours with Habitat for Humanity to construct a 160-foot fence. The impact has been transformative for the family with young twin daughters. It provides an added layer of security, needed comfort in a strange neighborhood, a sense of safety in a new home. HCM donated $2,500 to Habitat for Humanity and intends to volunteer with the group next summer. Habitat for Humanity’s vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
