Honda’s “Drive the Legacy” initiative strengthens support for HBCUs, offering scholarships and immersion experiences. Over three decades, Honda has enriched nearly 300,000 HBCU students’ lives, granting over $14 million for education programs and facility improvements, while attracting top talent to Honda careers.

Battle of the Bands
Honda Battle of the Bands was created to celebrate, support and recognize the excellence of marching bands for Historically Black College or Universities. Each year eight bands are chosen to advance to the showcase held in Atlanta. Annually, Honda awards more than $200,000 in grants as part of Battle of the Bands.
Supporting Hispanic Scholars in S.T.E.M
Honda has a long-term relationship with Hispanic Scholarship Fund, supporting students in a variety of ways and helping them shape their individual goals. But they all share the dream of becoming a trailblazer, a key to the future, an innovator.
Honda Campus All-Star Challenge
The Honda Campus All-Star Challenge is one of Honda’s largest and longest running philanthropic initiatives in the United States. Since 1989, the program has awarded more than $9 million in grants to participating HBCUs impacting the lives of more than 125,000 students across 22 states. Although the competition is fierce, HCASC is all about teamwork, perseverance and building friends for life.
