Honda of America, Mfg. Donates a Honda CR-V to Addiction Recovery Center
In an effort to make the recovery process a bit smoother for some deserving young people in Ohio, Honda of America Mfg., in partnership with its suppliers, recently donated a 2020 Honda CR-V to Maryhaven, central Ohio’s largest and most comprehensive behavioral health services provider specializing in addiction recovery.
“Honda and our network of more than 700 parts and materials suppliers are committed to supporting organizations that work to improve the communities around us,” said Mark Willoughby, vice president of purchasing at Honda of America Mfg. “We donated a Honda CR-V to Maryhaven in partnership with these suppliers. This CR-V will provide mobility to the individuals and families Maryhaven serves.”
The donation of a 2020 Honda CR-V will specifically benefit the adolescents who are in residential treatment at Maryhaven’s Alum Creek Location. This is a variable length of stay program serving at risk youth providing residential care to adolescents who have substance use disorders along with mental, emotional, and behavioral problems.
Shawn Holt, CEO and President at Maryhaven, Inc. said: “Our patients deal with a multitude of barriers that impedes their road to recovery. This gift of transportation will go a long way to breaking down at least one of the challenges that our patients face each day. We are forever grateful and extend our profound thanks to Honda.”
