Honda Named a “Noteworthy Company for Diversity” in 2019
Honda has again been named to the list of Noteworthy Companies for Diversity in 2019, compiled by Diversity Inc. Honda also was named to the list in 2018.
Honda was recognized for its leadership commitment to inclusion and diversity initiatives, commitment to increase workforce diversity, an increase in diverse representation in management and favorable diverse representation in entry-level management, new hires and promotions.
The Diversity Inc. Top 50 and Noteworthy lists recognize the nation’s top companies for diversity and inclusion management. These companies excel in such areas as hiring, retaining and promoting women, minorities, people with disabilities, individuals within the LGBTQ community and veterans.
“Honda has a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion in every aspect of our business, so we are pleased to be recognized for our efforts by Diversity Inc.,” said Yvette Hunsicker, assistant vice president for the Office of Inclusion and Diversity at Honda North America, Inc. “We will continue to focus on initiatives that will make Honda an even more inclusive place to work and do business.”
