In celebration of Black History Month, the African-American Resource Collaborative of Honda (AARCH), comprised of associates, along with African American Business Resource Groups (BRGS) from Honda of America Manufacturing Inc. and Honda Transmission Manufacturing visited the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center (NURFC) in Cincinnati, OH for a day of education and fellowship.

The tour guide led them through the history of slavery, the Underground Railroad, the Abolitionist Movement, and modern day struggles for freedom. The Freedom Center is an amazing resource which provokes dialogue and moves modern abolitionists to action.

Honda of America Manufacturing Inc. is a long-time supporter of the Freedom Center. Its foundation has supported the NURFC with a grant to send students to the museum, and this is the first time Honda has officially held an educational event and partnered with our BRGs.
