The weather was perfect for a garden party and Honda volunteers were happy to support the fundraiser held by Kaleidoscope Youth Center (KYC) in Columbus on Oct. 1.

Honda was a presenting sponsor of the event supporting KYC, whose mission is to work in partnership with young people in Central Ohio to create safe and empowering spaces for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning and Ally youth through advocacy, education, support, and community engagement.

Roughly 10 volunteers from Honda of America Mfg., Inc. greeted guests, helped with registration, served beverages, assisted with the silent auction and helped set-up and teardown for the party.

The Garden Party is KYC’s largest fundraising event of the year, attended by nearly 300 people.
