December 21, 2016 – Thanks to generous Honda associates, vendors, suppliers, customers and Ontario Honda dealers, a total of 4,029 toys were collected and delivered to the CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish toy warehouse in the Toronto area.

As part of the toy drive, anyone who brought in a new, unwrapped toy to any of Honda’s 78 Ontario automobile dealerships received a unique PIN to fill out an online ballot for a chance to win a white 2017 Honda Civic EX sedan. The winner will be announced Dec. 23.

Those who took a selfie with their donation at an Ontario dealership and posted the photo to Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #toysneedyourhelp – and tagged two friends – received an additional chance to win.

As the campaign wrapped up, 42 Honda associates volunteered at the toy warehouse, joined by volunteers from more than 20 Ontario Honda dealers from across the area.

Volunteers helped count and sort the toys and the items are now on their way to deserving children across the Greater Toronto Area, making the holiday season a bit brighter for families in need.

This marks the sixth year of the Honda Canada Foundation’s participation in the CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish.
