Ride for Kids®

Started in 1984 to help children with brain tumors, Ride for Kids events are now the passions of countless motorcycle enthusiasts who ride to raise money for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (PBTF). With the help of the Honda Riders Club of America, thousands of motorcyclists have raised more than $61 million dollars to support brain cancer research and family support programs, making PBTF the largest non-profit funding source for pediatric brain tumor research.

In May 2014, more than 660 participants – including 11 local brain tumor survivors – attended the 23rd Los Angeles Ride for Kids, helping the PBTF raise $128,729.

“It means a lot when you pull into the event and see all the motorcycles and all the smiles,” said Kaydence, one of the young survivors. “It makes me happy to be here.”

Honda has been the presenting sponsor of the event since 1991. For more information, please visit the Ride for Kids website: www.ride4kids.org.
