National Youth Project Using Minibikes

How Little Bikes Make a Big Difference

Minibikes can transform lives. That is the power of the National Youth Project Using Minibikes (NYPUM). Created by Honda in 1969 as a way to engage at-risk and disadvantaged youth, this innovative program uses riding minibikes as an incentive for kids ages 10–17 to make positive changes in their lives with the help of peers, mentors and positive adult role models. NYPUM operates programs in urban, suburban and rural communities from Los Angeles to Boston. Find out more at www.nypum.org.
