Honda Helps Honor Bread of Life Volunteers

Honda Manufacturing of Indiana (HMIN) recently supported the Bread of Life’s volunteer banquet, an annual appreciation dinner that honors the organization’s many volunteers.

Bread of Life serves 900 – 1,000 meals per week at its facility, and relies on volunteers to prep, cook, serve, and deliver food three days a week as it is a non-profit organization.

The organization’s mission is, “Faithfully working together to provide a free meal to those in need” and it uses, on average, 50 to 75 volunteers per week.

HMIN’s sponsorship of the event enabled the organization to purchase thank-you gifts for the volunteers. Honda also had four volunteers at the event, serving food and helping with cleanup activities.

Honda associates have volunteered at Bread of Life for Team Honda National Week of Service for the past two years.
