Gifts and classroom supplies recently brought smiles to students outside of Columbus, Ohio, thanks to a group of Honda Transmission Mfg. (HTM) associates.

The classroom included 17 students with special needs and eight teachers/assistants. The teachers were asked to make a list of supplies needed for the classroom and the students were asked for a list of things that make them happy.

Honda associates rose to the challenge, with 11 associates from two departments teaming up to deliver a holiday to remember. HTM associates shopped for shoes, clothes, hats, scarves, books, blankets, school supplies and the gifts that makes the students happy. Associates delivered the gifts and supplies just before Christmas. The holiday festivities included decorating sugar cookies as well.

The teachers were overjoyed with the school supplies donated to the class room along with gift bags for them as well. HTM associates enjoyed spreading the holiday spirit with these special students.
