How we go green
Product lifecycle assessment
With the environment in mind, Honda designs its vehicles with the end of life in mind. Every Honda product is designed and built with the goal of having the smallest environmental footprint possible.
Nearly every step of a product’s existence creates emissions, from suppliers, manufacturers, transporters and customers. We strive every day to reduce those emissions for our customers, our associates and society.
Green Dealer program
Honda launched a ‘Green Dealer’ program in 2012 to help independently owned and operated dealers in the U.S. reduce their environmental impact. The program recognizes dealers who implement sustainable practices.
Zero waste to landfill
Waste comes in many forms, and we take many steps to eliminate it from our processes. From maximizing use of raw materials to finding new opportunities for recycling, our goal is to send no waste to landfills.
