Reaching for the Stars

NASA/Onizuka Space Science Day was created to honor the memory of Challenger Astronaut Ellison Onizuka by inspiring students to study space sciences.

Intended for students in grades 5-12 who are interested in astronomy, the event includes a keynote presentation from a NASA astronaut, demonstrations in astronomy, physics and chemistry, interactive science exhibits and other hands-on experiments. Honda has sponsored the event since its inception in 1993.
