JDRF Honors Honda with Corporate Champion Award

Honda was honored with the T1D Corporate Champion of the Year Award Saturday night for its support of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund (JDRF), and because its long-standing support for the communities where associates work and live demonstrate the company’s commitment to making the world a better place.

Honda shares JDRF’s commitment to the health and well-being of young people and supports the organization’s dream of taking the disease from Type 1 to Type None.

Steve Morikawa, American Honda Vice President of Corporate Relations & Social Responsibility, accepted the award on the company’s behalf, at the JDRF Imagine Gala in California. In addition to receiving the award, Honda also donated a 2018 Accord EX-L that was raffled off at the event to support JDRF’s fundraising efforts.
