Honda Turns Out for Great Columbus Duck Race

More than a dozen associates from Honda Manufacturing of America, Inc. in Ohio recently turned out to support the Great Columbus Duck race – and the pediatric patients it benefitted.

Honda associates volunteered at the concession stands and assisted with logistics for the race, in which 20,000 rubber duck ‘Racers’ sprinted down Columbus’ Scioto River after being launched from a nearby bridge.

Held on Aug. 19, the sixth annual Columbus Duck Race partnered with The Columbus Food Truck Festival, the largest food truck festival in the Midwest. Racer Duck purchases benefitted The Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

The Institute is focused on discovery of improved treatment for serious childhood illnesses.
