Honda to Receive Little League Friendship Award

Honda is celebrating its 20th anniversary as a sponsor of Little League Baseball and Softball, and as a recognition of its long affiliation with the organization, Honda will receive the W. Howard Hartman Little League Friendship Award during this week’s Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Honda has helped more than 50,000 youngsters have the chance to compete in Little League activities in more than 90 cities through a grant program that has funded field improvements, replaced equipment and aided local programs.

“We are truly honored to receive this award for our support of Little League Baseball and Softball. Helping the organization, as well as Leagues in communities all across the country, provide children with the opportunity to play the game and learn essential skills from being part of a team has been our privilege for the past 20 years,” said Jeff Conrad, senior vice president and general manager of the Honda Division of American Honda.

In addition to its 20-year sponsorship, the Honda Odyssey is the Official Vehicle of Little League Baseball. Read more about Honda’s commitment to Little League Baseball here.
